Historic Greenwood Church | Shreveport Architectural Photography

One of the biggest pleasures I get with my commercial work is the opportunity to help people and businesses in our community working to get their buildings listed on the National Historic Registry. This helps allow the buildings owners to get tax breaks on repairs and restoration of the historical buildings. It takes a team to put together the packages that get submitted making sure all the information is researched and provided that is required. I have worked with an incredible local historian, Lane, for years on many different submissions.

One that we just got completed recently was the historic Greenwood Church in Shreveport. This building looks incredible from the outside, I mean look at the incredible stained glass windows! It doesn’t even compare to the architectural beauty you see when you enter the building. The woodwork is still in wonderful condition, looking like something you might expect to see in Norway or Sweden. I am thankful for the beauty in the architecture and those that work to keep these historic buildings standing.
