CELESTIAL GLory.

Celestial Glory is a fine art based body of work that shows an external manifestation of my personal identity journey.  This fine art conceptual self-portrait series explores spirituality as it intersects with identity.  The images do not follow a linear timeline but are a poetic journey that combine personal life experiences with spiritual beliefs, dreams, and goals.

From a young age I was taught that I have a divine nature and destiny with an eternal identity.  This was not always easy to understand, explain, or believe.  I am in a lifelong journey learning what this means to me personally and how it affects how I feel about myself and who I am.  We can be taught certain beliefs, but at what point in our lives do they become our own?  These images illustrate the things I have been taught, my personal beliefs, and how it truly affects what I feel about myself.
